For those that haven't yet heard our story, it all starts in San Francisco.

In the fall of 2013, Ada was living in Russian Hill and Joe had recently moved to the city for a new job and had just settled only a few blocks away in Lower Pac Heights. On a Friday night out Ada and Joe met while out in the neighborhood at Mayes Oyster House on Polk Street (for those that haven't been, you can skip the oysters and opt for the vodka soda instead). They exchanged numbers, and that was that.

Until 7 years later in NYC.

Ada and Joe "re-met" in the summer of 2020. Their first date was in July on the Lower East Side. The next day, Ada flew to San Francisco for a month, but they stayed in touch and by the fall of 2020 were officially dating. They made many trips back and forth between Chelsea & SoHo, strolled miles along the West Side Highway, successfully hit all the spots on their NYC Covid outdoor dining bucket list, and even squeezed in a few Pandemic trips as flights opened back up. By the summer of 2021 they moved in together in Tribeca.

Joe proposed to Ada in their Tribeca apartment before their second annual holiday party (quickly turned surprise engagement party) on December 3, 2022. Then just a month later Boomer, their rapidly growing golden retriever puppy, joined the household.
